Chris Farley Motivational Speaker
Character Matt Foley

The Chris Farley Motivational Speaker character was considered some of Farley's best work, he even played this character at a few gigs prior to him joining the cast at SNL. This character appeared on SNL in eight sketches and during each sketch, the character (Matt Foley) was requested to speak to a group of individuals for motivational purposes.

Chris Farley's character, Matt Foley was everything that a motivational speaker should not be - down on his luck, clumsy and very rude. This motivational speaker character, Matt Foley, was a hit on NBC's Saturday Night Live (SNL) TV program in the mid to late 90's.

During each speech, he used his trademark line,
"... 35 years old, thrice divorces and living in a van down by the river."

This was his warning to others that they could end up in the same situation as the character. He was truly a comedic act. Below you will find a few clips from his sketches.

In this life-changing “abundance” program, bestselling author, self-made multimillionaire and The Secret co-star Dr. Joe Vitale shows you how to tap into the awesome force of the Law of Attraction, and focus it like a laser for one purpose — attracting more money into your life.
